Option 1
If you are a current or former Yankee/USAV member in our region–you will need to renew your annual membership if you have not done that yet this season or purchase a single event membership valid for the weekend of the tournament in addition to paying the $35 scramble entry fee using paypal (this membership can later be upgraded to full membership if you play again).
Go to http://yankee.org/memberships/membership-application. Follow the instructions there to purchase a $30 single event membership OR renew your annual membership for $50. A single event membership will be valid for both days of the weekend of the scramble if you end up playing in another tournament that weekend.
Option 2
If you are a new player to USAV/Yankee (no previous USAV membership in our region)–you do not need to pay the paypal entry fee–instead you will purchase a single event USAV membership for $30 (which can later be upgraded to full membership). If you think or know you will play in another Yankee tournament prior to the scramble you are signing up for you should wait to do this and likely will use Option 1 above. You will still need to follow steps 1-5 below to get your name on the list and the tournament director will follow up with you about payment/membership a few weeks before the tournament.Go to http://yankee.org/memberships/membership-application. Follow the instructions there to purchase a $30 single event membership. MAKE SURE THAT YOU PICK THE START DATE TO BE THE FRIDAY BEFORE THE TOURNAMENT YOU WANT TO PLAY IN!!!! It will be valid for both days of the weekend of the scramble if you end up playing in another tournament that weekend. Again, if you will be playing in a tournament prior to the scramble tournament date then you should use Option 1.
After you purchase the membership do the following:
Pay electronically with paypal–Use the Pay Now button on the tournament registration page to do this.
How to Pay if you are new to USAV
No additional payment beyond the $30 single event or $55 full membership is needed.
Complete Schedule of Scrambles (note for a 9 am start of play you will need to arrive by 8:30–expect to be at the gym until at least 4:00 pm–longer if your team is competing in playoffs). For earlier starts plan to arrive 30-45 minutes prior to the tournament start time.
